Marlies Announce 2018 Preseason Schedule

he Toronto Marlies announced today the club’s 2018 preseason schedule. The Marlies will play three preseason games, opening on the road with two games against the Rochester Americans then returning to Coca-Cola Coliseum to face the Syracuse Crunch.


Toronto will face Rochester on September 27 at HarborCenter in Buffalo, NY with puck drop scheduled for 7:00 p.m. The Marlies and Americans will travel to Thorold, ON which will host a preseason game at Frank Doherty Arena on September 29 at 4:00 p.m. A family festival open to the public will take place prior to the game, beginning at noon. The festival will include family-friendly activities, food trucks, inflatables and more. Tickets can be purchased at beginning today at 5:00 p.m. With each ticket purchased, fans will also receive one ticket to the Marlies home game on October 20 against the Hartford Wolf Pack.

The Marlies will close out the preseason at home against the Syracuse Crunch on October 2 at 4:00 p.m. Ticket information for this game will be released at a later day. Fans are encouraged to join Marlies Insider to stay up to date on all ticket offers and information.

Toronto will start its regular season on the road on October 5 against the Utica Comets and on October 6 against the Binghamton Devils before returning to Coca-Cola Coliseum to face the Cleveland Monsters on October 8.

The Toronto Marlies are the 2018 Calder Cup Champions and the primary development program for the Toronto Maple Leafs. The final 2017-18 Toronto Maple Leafs roster featured 13 players who were developed by the Marlies (Tyler Bozak, Connor Brown, Connor Carrick, Travis Dermott, Jake Gardiner, Zach Hyman, Andreas Johnsson, Nazem Kadri, Kasperi Kapanen, Leo Komarov, Josh Leivo, William Nylander and Morgan Rielly).
